  এটি লাগানোর সময় সাদা দেখালেও শুকিয়ে যাওয়ার পর পুরোপুরি স্বচ্ছ (Transparent) হয়ে যায়। ফলে টাইলস বা দেয়ালের আসল সৌন্দর্য নষ্ট হয় না।

  কৌটাটি ভালোমতো ঝাঁকিয়ে বা নেড়ে নিয়ে একটি ব্রাশ দিয়ে আক্রান্ত স্থানে পাতলা করে এক কোট লাগিয়ে দিন।

  প্রথম কোটটি কিছুটা শুকিয়ে আসার পর (সাধারণত ২-৩ ঘণ্টা পর) ওপর দিয়ে আরও এক কোট লাগিয়ে দিন। ফাটল যদি গভীর হয়, তবে ২ থেকে ৩ বার কোট করা ভালো।

  পুরোপুরি শুকিয়ে ওয়াটারপ্রুফ লেয়ার তৈরি হতে ২৪ থেকে ৪৮ ঘণ্টা সময় লাগতে পারে। এই সময়ের মধ্যে ওই জায়গায় কোনোভাবেই পানি লাগতে দেওয়া যাবে না।
